So this car never had top end rebuild or valve guides replaced?

got it in the mail today...thought huh...that looks alot like a 993 shifter, hi mile, what the hell?

Was not at all surprised, in fact expected to see this rennlisters 300K mile cab featured inside. Looking forward to reading the artile, awesome intro regarding the moment it turned to the 3 in the 6th digit to the left.

So, is confusing Panorama with Excellence a good thing, or a bad thing? I say a good thing because there's no way this type of article would have appeared in the "old" Panorama.

Agreed, it's a great personal story and even better because it's about one of us :-) In light of the 'shift' toward this very personal style of journalism in Pano I'm looking forward to more of the same.
