Default best Mat for black interior

Did some reading on mat choices. Of all the mats I'm going with cocomats.com (no affiliation). But what color for silver w/black interior? I believe the black with white dots serves to bring out what little brightwork is inside the car. The gray dots looked washed out. The red dots on black...well...a bit too much. No 993 pic, but here is a good visual. It looks vintage yet clean.

Unless your car is a garage queen, just the usual dirt associated with getting in and out of the car on a daily basis will make it difficult to maintain the contrast between dark and light shades on the mat. The lighter shades will become gray (Or red if you live in the rural south) and sisal doesn't clean easily or well. In the end though, it's all up to what you like and want to put up with.

Default cocomats.com

As many others have mentioned these mats are the best.

I have had two sets for my Polar Silver / Black 993s.

I think you would be happiest with black / grey dots (silver).

They stay looking good for many seasons.

I have coco mats in my car and went with black with silver highlights. These are the best mats for Porsches, IMO.

Good point about the white getting soiled. Busta Rib?...I didn't see black with silver dots. Can you post photo? Maybe Coco Mats does a custom color?

I got the black mats with grey/silver dots. The site that I bought them from advertised them as silver. White seemed to pop too much for me.

Black/Grey

I have the Marble Grey interior, the owner (Drew?) suggested Black Mats with Grey dot instead of the lighter shade I was originally going to order, VERY glad I listened to him

Why not ask him when you call?

Great feedback. I did talk with Jeff at Coco Mats. He said Black/Grey is same as Black/Silver. Thanks for all the pics.

I have a set of Black/Blue dots that were in a Arctic Silver/Black 993 and looked great. I would be willing to sell them along with the rear deck mat for 50% of new cost. Let me know if your interested.

Whatever way you go, CocoMats are great! Have them in 3 of my Porsches.

Not a fan of Coco mats ... they shed and make a mess.

Try out a set of square weave mats - they look great!
