i replaced my car cd with a new unit and since then my battery has been losing its charge. the battery is only two years old. Could the deck be draining the charge while the car is switched off. The deck seems to be off when the key is off.
When i attached the wires because the car a 95 does not have a illumination wire i crossed it with the ign. positive.
whats the best way to check is there is a draw after the key is out of the ing?
could it be a bad battery?

 

You could just use a multimeter to measure current drain across the relevant fuse point. Then you can see which circuits/devices are draining the battery and by how much.
