I just received mine yesterday so thank you very much!

I hope that I can provide some input though. I don't mean to criticize but am rather hoping to be constructive here.

Is there a reason why some of the pictures are so badly pixelated? Is it hard to get high resolution images submitted for the calendar?

I know that back in my VW days we did a Corrado calendar with the Corrado Club of Canada and had a 2 week window where club members could submit pictures (with a minimum resolution) for other members to vote on. The highest 12 pictures were included in the calendar.

Could we not do something like that here and increase the quality of the pictures a little bit? Just a thought...

Again, I don't mean to criticize, just looking to improve things a little.

Thanks for your comment and no offense taken at all.

YES it's hard to get good quality pics....hell, it's hard to get pics at all. To get a pic I have to PM the owner asking for a hi res version of a posted pic (which may not even exist) AND their permission to use. This generally takes, at a minimum, two to three PMs and emails for every pic!. Many times I don't even get a reply.

I have made numerous pleas and requests for submission of pics directly to me at plohmeyer@woh.rr.com in several threads here, including one that is active posting pics right now, and only get a pic or two as a result.

I hate to paraphrase Donald Rumsfeldt here ('cause he's an idiot), but sometimes you just gotta go with what you have at the time.

If you really want to help, then suggest a good pic you see get submitted to me.

Hi Dan, thanks for taking my input constructively. I actually did a photoshoot this fall with the intent of submitting some pics. Unfortunately I ran out of time as I'm getting a few of them touched up by a photoshop expert but rest assured that I will be submitting a couple for next years calendar!

And thank you again for putting this thing together, you hard work and patience is greatly appreciated!

Received my Calendar today. Thank you.

I didn't see the thread to send in pics for Calendar, but July's picture looks like the RHD/ROW twin of my car.

I appreciate your efforts in putting this together for 993 Rennlist. Now my car will know when it's time to get ready for some fun.

Johnny
