As a newbie, I haven't decided whether to spend the big bucks on becoming an official Rennlist member, but in the meantime I need your help.
Assuming even cheapskates can attach jpegs using this new Rennlist software, I'd like like you to look at the attached jpeg -- if it's visible -- and give me your brutally frank opinion. I have concluded this car is much too pretty for any heterosexual male driver, and in fact is a "girl's car." I am thinking of trading it for something like a muddy Expedition or a rusty Jeep. Do you concur?

Is that wood or brown Carrara marble on your steering wheel?
White on a cab is pretty and, combined with the white wheels, is a bit too boulevardier/disco for my tastes. Regarding the interior, I'm not at all fond of the leather color. In the slightest.
Why don't you trade it in or sell it and get a more serious color combo? Most 993's are bad-***, but wood and a funky leather color, combined with excess chrome, are sure to make you a hit at the, um, non-hetero clubs in Miami.

Don't be a cheapskate! It's not big bucks and it is not just about being able to upload piccies...Do you value visiting the Rennlist site? Do the right thing!
uhmmm...one of my cars is a white cab with a blue top but that color interior does not go well with that color, and that steering wheel and dash are unattractive...also not a big fan of the colored wheels with that car.
Lose the wood, the funky steering wheel and the white wheels and that's my car. The camel interior in a white cab with black top is an incredible combination. Somehow, I remain secure in my masculinity.
BTW Does anyone know where my Rennlist Member badge went? I must have lost it in the forum change? Perhaps the effeminate color combo on my car has stripped me of the designation?
After putting together some pix for my PC’s walIpaper, I thought I’d share them here –- and have a little fun at my own expense. The truth is I love the car -– that’s why I spent big bucks on it! –- although I wouldn't choose the camel interior color or wood trim in a brand new car. But when I searched for the car I had priorities and the major ones were finding a 993 cab in the best possible shape that fit my budget. Of course I wanted something that appealed to my eye too, and believe it or not, many of us living in the scorching Arizona heat have learned to love white cars. Mission accomplished -- the car is in superb condition and I truly wouldn't change a thing about it at this point. If you didn't know much about Porsches, I could probably convince you that the car is brand new. It's been that well taken care of -- mechanically and aesthetically.
I have appreciated all of the good info on this board as I searched for a replacement for my 91 Cab and will undoubtedly check back in when I get ready to make any performance or appearance changes to the car. However, my priority at this point is to drive the hell out of it. I assume that's why most of us choose an expensive racecar that provides entertainment on a par with good sex?
