David noone is saying that 993 parts will have Hunday Prices, what I said is that with most Porsche parts you have options for supplier.

Point is you can buy Porsche parts or OEM parts.

Example 993 Front Rotors PORSCHE USD 240 Each
From OEM Supplier 163 Each
Zimmerman USD 96
From Pelican Parts.com and Porsche

Now guess what options you have with a Ferrari, Ferrari Dealer ONLY!!!! Specially true with newer ones.

Get a 360 Modena and you will find out.

Do you get the picture?

Like as is often the case when people here post about Ferraris, that is completely incorrect. There are options with Ferrari parts too. However my point is that Porsche parts are not cheap either. Generally not as expensive as Ferrari parts, but not cheap.

Read my previous posts in this thread.....I have owned my current Ferrari 360 F1 Modena (not my first Ferrari......how many Ferraris have you owned?) since 2001 and my 993S (not my first 911) since 1999. And BTW, I've been a PCA member for 35 years and an FCA member for 25 years........so yeah.....I get the picture.

Cheers.

My father had a 1980 Targa, went to a 308GTS and then a Testarossa, and then he died. My first P car was a 1995 993, and now I drive a 991S. And 25 years ago I was on diappers.

So if my initial post was constructive and correct no need to take a punt on it, keep it constructive, and being a PCA or FCA member or not does not increase or decrease your knowledge of cars. No need to flaunt your possessions won’t make me respect you more.

And what I said was correct, Pelican Parts does not sell Ferrari Parts, Summit Racing does not, ECS does not, no one does, and the newer the car the worst it is.

AND BTW after so many Ferraris you could spare USD 17 and become a Rennlist Member and support the site!!!!!

As the originator of this thread, I felt it was informative, constructive and spirited. However now that the words, "diapers, Ferrari and Porsche" have appeared in the same sentence, it's time to put this puppy to bed.
