Went to install the pump, let it dangle down upon my first start so i can see if its leaking and it doesn't fire up. Pump can be heard what sounds like its pumping fuel but i'm getting no pressure at the FPR. Pump was bought used but new in box. Anything i'm missing? fuel filter is new as well. Thanks
Make sure the pump is wired properly. They will run if wired backwards, but won't pump. Attached is a pic with the (-) and (+) terminals marked on the pump.

Sounds like it may be knackered especially if it has had fuel run through it even for a short time then left in a box for a while.
I had a newish pump that was working fine when I took it out,put it in a box and left it on the shelf for a couple of months, when I refitted it it made a noise but would not pump fuel
Silly question but you have put the pump in the right way round?
ok stupid me would think bosch would keep the +/- on the same size terminals. nope. it runs now but damn this thing makes some noise. no sound deadening will do that i guess. thanks man
