White is a great color on the 993!

Nicely done, my friend. Nicely done. Welcome to the madness. IMO, I think color-matched seats with white are too Miami Vice and I would leave as-is. Not that my opinion matters, but you have a supporter in the non-painted corner.

You guys are awesome. Thanks for the warm welcome!

I was just thinking about that the other day after putting the 996 twists on. I saw a few pics in another thread and they looked nice (...and wide)!

Thought about it, but currently like the graphite/black look. But don't tell Opo.

Thanks! What a ride and hope I'm doing justice taking care of her.

They are Porsche hollow 996 twists.

+1!

The 996 sport seats were great, but for some reason didn't fit me as well as I hoped. When I saw a pair of mint 993 sport seats for sale, I jumped on it and haven't looked back. They feel great and look awesome.

I would agree, I prefer unpainted myself. Nice looking car.

When are we going to get together and listen to each others exhaust?

Great car, best of luck...damn, I should have held out for a white WB. White is the best color for a WB IMO.

Hmmm? Lets see. HB sport seats and refinishing the 996 twists (aka best looking wheel for c4s). Yeah, I'd say you're doing her justice.

The pics look so good I thought for a second -- just a second -- that I shouldn't have let her go. Then I remembered that I couldn't keep her.

Enjoy....

How can you tell the difference between 993 and 996 sport seats? My car has painted sports seats. I know that they were not installed at the factory but I don't know exactly where they came from.

PB, your car is beautiful! Must be the setting or something b/c the color almost looks like chiffon white, which is my all-time favorite!

Well done and enjoy.

Us owners of 993's are a lucky group!

it's more than the controls..the shape, the leather, the stitching, but especially...the value. 993 HB's are three times as valuable as 996 HB's.

The 993 HB's are very distinctive looking, compare pics of the two...and you'll never confuse them with each other again.

Yes, but the buttons are the easiest to describe without pictures. It would be much harder to describe the other differences so that he could easily tell what he has.

This is a 996 sport seat

993 sport seats

997 sport seats
