Ed, that one is #17, I believe, and belongs to the Ingram Collection in Durham. Several cars are from private collections in addition to those provided by Porsche.
I've been involved with tours and the folks at the musium tell us the ticket sales are second only to the Rembrandt show... pretty impressive!

WOW- wish I could come up with a reason to take the drive. I saw McQueen's XKSS a few years ago at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta- would love to see his Speedster as well.

The show is spectacular. I finished the tour and then went back for seconds!
One comment for trip planners is that the movie they show, while interesting, is pretty darn long (felt like a half hour) and not a must see. If you're going with someone who isn't a Porsche junkie, you may want to sneak away for it while they check out other stuff (or get a beer downstairs) or just skip it.

A short "commute" for them. Except for a few of the race and factory cars, they could've put on the whole show and it wouldn't have suffered for it. In addition to having exquisite taste in Porsche automobiles, Bob Ingram is the consummate P-Car enthusiast and a class act. He has an incredible gift for remembering people. Once he meets you, he never forgets your name!

I recently moved to Raleigh and am planning on going to the exhibit as well (was suppose to go yesterday but got too lazy). I brought my favorite two cars here at this point, 2008 RS4 and 98 C2S and have been driving them regularly. Still have planning on meeting up with 911Jetta when things settle down a bit.
