My 993 Clubsport RSR Project
Finally decided I would just post up some pics that I've gathered throughout the build process. I purchased my first Porsche, the 993, early last year and had always been in love with the shape of the car as well as the classic styling and spartan, no-nonsense interior. I have grown an affinity to the GT2 variant, and since I can't afford one, especially at age 25, I figured I would do the next best thing and have the widebody treatment done on my C4. So enough blabbering, here are a couple pics from throughout the build process that leads up to the picture I took earlier this evening. Hope you guys enjoy!
-Brian
First, here is a picture of my 993 before she went under the knife. It was being used as my daily driver and I loved every minute behind the wheel.
here are a few snaps that I took during the build process
a couple of random pics taken at the body shop during different stages of work being done. The fenders and quarter panels were cut out and welded for rigidity retention.
and here are a few more recent pictures, during the completion of the widebody and paint process.
she still needs a little bit more work done, but I hope I will be able to share the rest of the ride along with you guys and update with more pics when I have a chance to do so.
a few remaining things to be done:
- I purchased a pair of Recaro Pole Positions in leather that need to be installed
- The cage has to be removed and painted (haven't decided on color yet)
- a whole slew of little Rennline parts that are making their way onto the car
hope you guys enjoyed the pics!

You've done well being 25! The car just looks spectacular, I really like that color and those wheels.
Out of curiosity, what are the wheels specs?
The car look so mean, I could see some turbo s-ducts or just painted ducts replacing the fog lights. Look forward to seeing the updates!

Love the color, body work looks nicely done.
Hint - optimal offsets for your wheels widths should be about 9 ET52 and 12 ET40.
With a C4 I think you're stuck keeping the wheel center in the same position re. driveshafts but just FYI the more negative offset you now have increases your scrub radius.
Rear offsets are somewhat dependent on bodywork clearance which seems to be a little different for each RSR, but certainly your current ones are too positive.
If you want to get a sense of your true offsets (+/- 1-2mm) you can measure your backspacing in inches and then plug that number and your wheel widths into this calculator:
