The wide oval tips are vulnerable enough to scrapes at current ride height, I couldn't imagine what a round pipe section would end up scraping against.

OK, here are a couple of pics I took today.
They are a direct replacement for the originals, so I can always go back.
The outside diameter is 76mm (3") and not too low to scrape too easily.
All up cost was $25 and a fair bit of time (too much really) to get them right.

Very nice. The 3" diameter seems to be the perfect size. Would love to see a shot directly from the rear.

<-------- Im a bit partial to the Ruf ones. Amazing quality with perfect radii matching the bumper from top side or whatever.

Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find... I found quite a few pics of different types of tips on 993's. I was ready to hit the go button on a pair of rolled edge ovals on eBay but I looked through my pics one more time and decided that round was a bit more unique and needed further investigation.
I made a pair of 85mm od tips out of a cornflakes box, painted the outside silver and the inside black and fixed them on with tape and cardboard packers to see the look for myself, from then they had to be round.
The challenge was to find the best setup, this is the result.

P906, nice car, what is the od of your tips, they look smaller than 3" but that may just be the rolled edge playing tricks on the eye.

The round tips bring a touch of nostalgia to a newer iteration of the marque. I like it a lot. You should make these available.
