Default Cigar lighter extra sleeve?

As we all know, 993's lighter is physically larger than most modern plug-in chargers and other plugs that tend to be used. So... is there any type of sleeve that can be installed so the plugs fit in snugly?

I remember this being discussed some years ago but can't quite find it. Blew another fuse #7 fiddling with a plug today.

interested as well...plug seems "bigger" after it was pulled out of the dash trying to unplug the oem compressor. I use a multi folded piece of paper for the phone charger for now.

I have a black plastic sleeve that came with the car (I bought it used). It works very well keeping a US plug firmly in place. It's just a thin cylinder of plastic with cut-outs for the four plug contacts. Radio Shack might have them. It looks like this:

Passport used to sell them. Although I don't see tehm on their site, you might give them a call.

Thanks, guys.

I was thinking more about a sleeve that would permanently go inside the socket and stay there. I use at least a few different plugs and use them in different cars so it's not really that convenient to have a sleeve per plug type of a solution.

Mike:

I use the one that came with my Escort radar detector. But I don't see them listed separately on their website.
