Love it Jason, had never seen that, thanks for sharing. Imagine driving a car for +/- 900,000 miles, and still wanting to go out to the garage and just stare at it from different angles....why would any sane person do that? It's not like it's a Ferrari (wink, wink)

My home office on the bottom level of the house has a door out to the garage, so I put in a plate glass window as well. Now I can stare at the car while on Rennlist! Seriously, I've poured a stiff drink and gone and sat in mine for a bit. Mainly I just spend time looking around the inside (as opposed to the road when I'm driving) and simply appreciate the fact that its mine. I also keep a vintage BMX bike and skateboard collection out there as well which I love to stare at.

I much prefer the highlands, particularly the Macallan 18.

Hey, different tastes are a good thing! I started with highlands and worked my way towards Islay.

One time....at band camp.....Quad wasn't miserable for a moment....but it passed quickly

I love that one of our youngest contributors is also the most curmudgeonly. It takes a certain type of personality to be so young, have so much opportunity and luck and still be so sour

I've loved the look of the 911 ever since I went for a ride in my Uncle's 1966 when I was a child. It is a simple yet instantly (to those who care) recognizable design, like the Coke bottle or VW Beetle. I will have a beer or two in the garage after a detailing or wrenching session on one of the cars. With three cars stored in the garage I can take my pick of what I want to look at as I unwind or appreciate all three at once.

Me, too. I particularly enjoy sitting in my C2 cab in my garage after a good, hard run through the twisties with a cold glass of Chimay in my hand, listening to the exhaust ticking as it cools down and luxuriating in the smell of heated oil, while looking at my RL-20II and Hosoi hanging on their racks on the garage wall and reminiscing.

I have absolutely sat in a chair I my garage, drink in hand, and stared at my car....not IN the car....cause I can't see the lines from inside. I refuse to limit myself to only "sane" activities.....so count me in

holy hell.... some of you guys need help.
i see my car when i walk by it. i want to drive it. but id rather spend the time with real people who are alive! real people + 993, also great. real people + 993+ beers and tools, even better. im missing the multidimensional "relationship" part you mention, the car doesnt give a rats *** about you....

Hmmm, is that an aircraft engine in your avatar? Since it's not a 993 (this is the 993 forum, after all), wouldn't it make more sense to have your family, wife or girlfriend pictured? The turbine doesn't give a rat's *** about you
