Guys,
I just upgraded my 993 audio system (I know, I know, I will not be able to hear the music from the engine, which is a fine perspective
). But as with many things on a 1996 vehicle, I did not come away unscathed.
The passenger-side black tweeter cover (I think they are universal in fact, and all black, but just in case) broke on reinstall. My non-Hi-Fi door pockets also showed some small, worrisome bits of broken plastic. I did what I think was an exhaustive search in the Parts Marketplace here, as well as a troll through places like Pelican Parts, AutoHauz, etc. but unless I missed it, I could not come up with any aftermarket sources for replacements.
I know I can go Porsche directly, and that may be my only choice, but I thought I would cast one more quick line out here to see if anyone can recommend another source for this type of item, or knows anyone looking to unload such things as a result of the race car they recently built??
Thanks either way,
Steve.
