I hired a new VP of Sales a few months ago and we've been going out on lots of calls together in my 993 (I'm 5'7"). He has no problem fitting in. These cars just keep amazing me. However, if we go in his car it's a Jag so that's OK with me too.

I've had a handful 911 owner NBA players as customers. Most memorable, in retrospect, would be Dennis Awtrey of the Phoenix Suns with a '73RS. Back when they were worth less than a 5 year old SC...........

Some of my taller friends have complained that the legroom is not adequate on the passenger side. There is more provided for the driver than the passenger. One of those complaining owns a 1989 911 himself.

The 993 has less legroom than the Boxster or my previous 911s. I'm 6 feet 1.

Yes, it's quite cramped leg-wise in the passenger seat for me (5'9 or so ... ) and my previous '87 and '72 911's didn't have that problem at all ... is it the air conditioning evaporator taking up the extra room on the firewall?
