I have repaired a few switch plates now. The guys at Parts Heaven showed me the following $0 DIY if you still have the broken tab in hand...

1. Find an old plastic card (member ship cards, frequent flyer card, etc...) and cut some thin strips
2. Use 5 minute epoxy to glue the strips as reinforcements where the tab broke off
3. Use some tape to hold the broken tab in place until the glue sets

Works great and stronger than they came from the factory

$115 for some 3d printed tabs and a metal clip. Usually I find tore's products to be good value but thats just silly.
