Default Broken clutch fork pivot boss

The outer boss(ear) which holds the clutch fork pivot shaft and bearing has broken on my tranny. My options are to repair or replace this segment of the case. Has anyone had any experience with a repair from an outfit called CaliforniaMotorsports where they grind off the damaged area and weld in a new boss. Any input appreciated. BTW I live in philadelphia

Yep I can offer up some help to you with your question. I have seen the work that CMS does first hand, and I can tell you without any reservation that they do a great job on this repair. Very accurate and well crafted.

Given that a good used bellhousing is quite expensive, this would seem a very good option for you. You will not be disappointed with the end result.

I hope that this is helpful, give me a call with any other questions I can help with.
