Default Euro side blinker light mounting information wanted

Can one of you Rennlister's in Europe pop out your side blinker light and measure and diagram the diameters and positions of the 2 holes in the fender for it please?

I want to install one exactly like Porsche did on my USA car.

Thanks.

How do you get them to work on a US car? Are the wires there?

I have a set of the lights from my 95 which are almost new. They are the clear lenses if anyone is interested.

NO the wires are part of the Euro wiring harness.

The easy way is to wire them into the harness in parallel at each of the front blinker lamps.

The way Porsche did it was with a short harness that goes through a grommet up to the area next to the HVAC unit on each side. This harness is connected to the main harness and the central electric unit at the rear (go figure, why not front?) blinker wire connections.

Funny, I live in Europe and have an ex-USA 993. Ik like the deleted indocators because it makes the front panels look more "smooth".

All I need to know is the diameter of the two holes and the distance between them.

The distance between the holes as measured between the arrows shown here: O<-->o

Not the center to center distance which I can calculate from the hole diameters.

I know the other measurements to position the holes on the body.

It is funny, but I am modeling my car after a European RS model and want it to be exact.

The position of the edge of the larger hole was 83mm from the edge of wing/fender when measured along the horizontal centre line. This might help confirm your known dimensions.
