FS: Viper Green 993
I'm welcoming a new addition to the fleet next week... in anticipation of its arrival, I'm making the practical decision to make some space, and am offering two of my cars up for sale... Whichever sells first will leave..
It is with great sadness, that I list "the Green Machine". I sure hope it goes to a RL'er...
Here we go: pics taken a couple months ago, nothing has changed.. been sitting in a covered garage since.

I bought the car in 2009 as a high mileage, well maintained car. I am the 4rd owner. Original owner had it for about 10k in the Dallas Area. Second owner (also in Dallas) put a pile of miles on it, using it to commute between Houston and Dallas. The car was serviced exclusively at Park Place Porsche in Dallas, every 15k miles and has all the stamps in the maintenance - the last stamp being from 2002, with 141k miles. I bought the car with 167k miles in 2009 and it now has 170k miles (I have 5 cars, so I don't put too many miles on any of them), so 30k miles have been put on the car in the last 12 years.
Prior to my ownership, the car had a top end rebuild (that was done at ~80k miles), a recent transmission rebuild (3k miles ago from Porsche dealer in Houston ~$6K) and a new clutch.
When I bought the car, since it had a lot of miles, I decided to make it the 993 that I always wanted. One thing led to another, and I made the plunge to paint it.
Under my ownership, I had the following done:
-original black paint was stripped to bare metal and resprayed in Porsche Viper Green from 1st rate restoration shop (www.mperformancehouston.com) $12k paint job.
-3.8RS tail, 993 RS side skirts, 993GT2 front taco spoilers
-genunie Porsche 993RS sway bars
-new OEM porsche brake discs and pads with steel brake lines
- H&R supercup coilovers
-fabspeed supercup exhaust
-leather RS door skins
-leather wrapped Recaro Pole Positions with backs painted viper green
-993RS steering wheel
-rothsport shifter
-radio delete
-had the windshield and front headlamp washers shaved for a very clean look
-front badge delete
-OEM turbo s air ducts
-new alternator and new engine fan
-full front custom clearbra (can not tell it is there, complete front up to windshield)
-genuine BBS LMs with black centers
Those are all the mods that come to mind, but there may be other little things. The car runs great and everything works, AC blows cold. All the service is up to date with my mechanic.
I have gotten very positive feedback from those who have seen the car in person - many have commented that it looks better in person than it does in photos.
RL price of $36.5k with BBS LMs... $35.5k with flat black MY02s.

Thanks for all the kind words
I am keeping the SY 993.. that car was the realization of a childhood dream, and the car that started my love affair with Porsches.
Other car for sale is a 19k mile, 2006 Competition Package e46 M3 in Interlagos Blue.

Love the viper green! If I had the room (actually if I had the $ but it sounds better if I say room) for it I would buy it! Also, how much are you asking for the E46? I have a friend that may be very interested.
