928 fuel pump in 993

928 fuel pump in 993
My fuel pump is dead, instead of a buzzing sound when connected directly to 12V+ all I get is a clunk.
I'm outside the USA and the Porsche pump in not available here, neither is the Bosch 0 580 464 058 pump. What is available is Bosch pump 0 580 464 057 which from the pictures look exactly like 0 580 464 058 and based on Bosch's catalog the flow rate and other specs are exactly the same but the 058 is listed as for a 911 while the 057 is for a 928. I wonder what the difference is.
My car has been out of commission for about 8 months already so I want to get it running asap so I'd prefer not having to wait another month for the 058 pump if the 057 is essentially the same.
Anyone have any info if the 928 pump will work with the 993?
