Are you using part # 944 653 921 00 in place of the 993 CCU a/c double switch? If so does it work as the original with 2 speeds.

My switch is still working but the icons of the snowflakes and defroster/recirculate buttons have started to wear off. Can anyone tell me if the CCU is flipped upside down for Right Hand Drive vehicles?

On my CCU, (left to right)
Defrost (top)
Recirculate (below Defrost)

Temperature ****

Sliders

Fan ****

Air-Conditioner (small snowflake)
Air Conditioner (large snowflake)

Inlet for temperature sensor

I wonder if the switche part numbers are the same?

I also am having problems with the max A/C switch on my 97 993. Did anyone find a source for the "double A/C switch" for the CCU 99365904701 other than having to order a reman replacement CCU?
