09991 code
I gotta assume the 09991 code,"manufacture from the exclusive program" on my sticker has to do with my 39S paint code (adventurine green metallic) being water based (also known as Pearl effect paint)? Am I correct with this assumption?

I may be incorrect, but believe that the 09991 'exclusive' code does not refer to your paint, but describes some specific feature(s) as in: "Porsche crest" embossed headrests, leather dash, extended leather in door panels, speaker covers, air vents, etc.
Others more knowledgeable will chime in shortly I imagine...

09991 = Means the car has an option from the Sonderwunsch Programm, now called Exclusive. It can range from a full leather interior with even the radio dials in leather to for instance your XD4 code: Porsche crest rim caps.
I believe that cars with 09991 stayed on the normal production line and the X option was installed in situ. Cars that have the 09981 code were physically transferred to the "Werk 1" to have all X options installed.
If you ever visit the Porsche museum in Stuttgart it's a short walk to "Werk 1" and you can sometimes see cars waiting for "the treatment"...

Sorry to bring back history here, but I have solved the Code 09991 question.
Everything above is generally correct. But the question remains: which exclusive option(s)? You need the original window-sticker to answer that question.
On the window sticker, there are three columns: 1. Standard Equipment, 2. Options, 3. Exclusive Options.
The 09991 code indicates that there are Exclusive Options included in the build but the specific E/Os presumably do not always have standard build codes, so it is the window sticker that will specify which E/Os were actually included.
In my case per the window sticker, it was 'Rear Ctr Cons Painted Extr Clr'. Yours will be unique to your ride.
