I have car covers for everything but find it hinders the spontaneity of just grabbing a car and driving. Plus I like looking at them.

The '96 993 4S shares the garage with a '07 Cayman S, '05 Audi S4, '12 VW Touareg TDI and a '73 BMW 2002tii.

You folks with high ceilings and easy access have it made! While ours has space for 7, it's very much like the puzzle we used to work when we were kids...you know...the one with 15 tiles numbered 1 to 15 and one open space, the object being to get all the numbers in proper sequence. I couldn't survive without GoJacks!

^^^^ Your suffering is offset by your cool collection of cars. And I like that you decorate with your tire labels. I have an assortment as well! Funny what us car geeks do. Lol!

Where does your 993 sleep? She sleeps around. Literally. Hey, you asked!

What does it share with? My wayward girl gets around; I share her with others for up to a month.

Covered? She sleeps in the nude.

Battery tender? Usually.

Dusty? Rarely.

Windows down? At the moment. Sometimes topless.

What does it look like before you get it ready for a picture on Rennlist? POST A PHOTO to show us!
Post a pic of her without her makeup? She'll kill me

'Speedy' leaving home to party on the road:

Most recent garage shots, shacking up with Germans:

She goes through men quickly. Got tired of the silver city boy on the side ^^ & brought back this brute:

When she found her way home...
Had two Turbo Ss snoozing below in the party bus:

Waiting for my next 993 I do have a lift in the right bay now and I am adding two 36 inch french doors on barn door sliders in the wall on the left side heading into the 3rd bay (that can't be seen in the photo).

I'll post the contrasting space. I have a tandem outdoor space behind my condo about 2 miles northwest of the Sears Tower. In this photo, i'm sharing my space with a guest. My car is the Polar silver 993 in front. I purchased an OEM outdoor car cover using a coupon through Automotion and got a great deal on it. It's a fitted piece and does a great job of keeping off rain/bird droppings/tree sap/etc. During the week I usually cover it and ride my bike to the suburbs for work, about 12 miles 1 way. I've done everything on the car myself (shocks/springs/front diff seals/clutch slave, etc.) with the exception of alignment and body work. I'll use a friends garage or drive out to my folks place for a weekend to get projects done whenever work is needed. When I first found the car and had some concerns about the purchase until I visited a cousin in London who lived in a nice neighborhood. Nobody had garages or even private spaces, everyone parked their brand new Ferraris, Astons, etc. on the street. After that experience, I decided to go for it. Haven't had any issues in the past 3 years.
