Metal pins with bumper to fender gaskets?
Hello there.
Bought the gaskets for between the fenders and bumper covers, part no: 993 505 543 00.
With each gasket are two small metal pins.
Does anyone know what these are for? Are they tools for the install or to be pushed into the actual gaskets?
If you search on this part number you see a pic from ecs showing what I'm on about :-)
Thanks for any help.

The pins are aluminum and they go in the ends of the fender welts where they tuck around the corner of the fender. They are meant to allow you to hide the end of the beading by making it keep its shape and you tuck it around.
Same for the end that hides under the corner of the trunk closure and underneath the metal trim piece.
It'll become apparent once you remove the bumper cover where the pins go and how to shape them.
