Default CDR-210 No Sound

The CDR-210 in my '96 has power, stations display on the face, loads a CD but there is no sound. I checked the fuses under the hood and the one in the back of the head unit and they are ok. There doesn't appear to be a fuse on the amp under the passenger seat.

Changed battery and successfully reset the security code.

Anyone have a similar problem or instructions on how to diagnose?

Thanks for helping.

If you haven't tried already, disconnect and reconnect the wire harness connections at the back of the head unit and at the amp.

I had the same problem, radio looked fine - but no sound.
I could not find out if it was the radio or the Nokia amp.
Ended up with a new radio [head unit] and removing the amp because no one locally could test it for me.
If you search there are many threads on the subject.
