I'll meet the Raffle Car tomorrow and take some pictures. I have no experience with these. I've driven 997s and own a 981 Boxster. Assuming I can go over the car, would listen to suggestions on a few points to look for. Thanks.

It's ok. I think it is safe to say this might be the one car on this site if someone gets they won't complain about any short comings or surprises
It;s low mileage I guess check for any signs of accident history would be interesting. Any signs of resprayed panels. Look around the front and rear lower window corners for any bubbling or signs of rust.
I think what everyone really would just love to see would be 6-10 good pics in and out.

Just returned from meeting the Raffle Car. It's very nice and the winner should love it. No rust or obvious repainting to my eye. Interior shows some wear, but appropriate and the leather is supple to the touch. There is a car phone mounted, which is interesting. Engine is not detailed. New tires on the back. Manufactured June 1995.
The fire company says that there are 100 tickets remaining, so they will sell out. So the window on entering the raffle is starting to close. More pictures later.

Photos of the Raffle Car are here and in the next post. Again, the winner will be very happy with the car. Some who have seen these shots think that the interior carpeting may have been refurbished. That may be. There are no stains or marks.

Remaining pictures are here. The wheel pictured was taken because the center was oriented so that it could be read. The other wheels are just as nice. So, looking forward to the drawing. Take a chance while there are chances to take. Organizers say they will tell me the ticket drawn. I will post it here. Thanks for your support.

In for Five Tickets
Good luck to all. Just purchased five tickets.
There cannot be too many tickets left.
At least if I win it I will know once and for all how to spell Aventurine Green correctly.
