Default Bucket seats and rear access

I have just bought my first 993 and it has GT3 buckets which I want to change out for something that I can move forward enough to use one rear seat.

Can you do this with a Pole Position? Its for a small person.

Anyone can take a pic of a Pole Position moved right forward? or do I need folding seats?

Thanks

Lee

First off, congratulations on a great purchase. Secondly, it is a prerequisite that you post pictures here for the rest of us to admire

I think you are going to have issues with rear seat access no matter the fixed back seat you try, but maybe someone else will contradict.

Here is a picture of the pp moved to the most forward position. You will have a 10 to 12" opening to stuff your small person in the back, but you might to be able to retrieve the person.

Is that slate grey or aventurine green? It would be a shame to change colors on a slate grey car.

If slate grey, I agree. Please don't change the color.

It is a RHD car (see pic) and he's from England so that might explain it...

OP, is that a cage I see in the car? Going to be tough to get the "small person" in and out without smacking them into something... Any fixed back seat is going to be challenging with the little one. There are some threads here about folding seats that are harness compatible.

Thank you for the pic.

The opening looks quite big there, certainly enough. The small person is my wife she weighs 42kg and is 5'2" so can work her way out.

My 3 year old gets pride of place at the front.

Yes the car is slate grey and I do like it but have always wanted a bright colour for a 993. I will see how I get on with the SG.

The Heigo cage will be coming out and I will put a single seat belt back in the car which suits my requirements as a family fun car.

I dont do many track days any more so happy not to have a cage.

Lovely buy that mate. No way you could build it from scratch for that price.

Where are you located? If you sell the Roock wheels, let me know, I'm interested. Potentially same with the Heigo.

Unless you do airbag override, please read up on the dangers of a 3 year old in front. Not trying to preach, and everyone has their own risk tolerance, I just ask you read up.

Beautiful car. Nice find.
