C2S FS
Listing a C2S on eBay with no mention of an accident so I figured I'd warn you guys here. Whether they failed to perform their due diligence or are doing it intentionally is unknown.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1997-...item3a820805d1
VIN#: WP0AA299XVS322509
This car has been in a parking lot fender bender which is not mentioned in the auction...
Here's the original eBay ad from the original owner who also failed to disclose the damage until I spoke with his mechanic -- http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Carre...orcev4exp=true

Nope I haven't. I only know the original seller knew of the damage. Regardless, if you sell a 17y/o car as "pristine" you should probably do due diligence...

I cannot speak from experience, as I have not done any business with him/them, however I have seen a lot of nice cars come through there and would be surprised if they were trying to hide something. I don't see a carfax available on this car, but if its not on the report--then I don't think you can assume they are aware.
This car was on GCFSB yesterday and is getting a lot of exposure. The asking price is roughly what the car cost new, so I think the fender bender does matter, just not sure how much $$.

Then, I have to wonder how fair it is to drag Eric Sheets International's name through the mud if you don't have any proof. I think you need to offer far more information than you've currently provided such as type of damage, extent of damage, how long Eric Sheets had the car, etc., etc.

These "negative" threads can do a lot of damage to the involved business and we better be sure to think and check our facts before clicking the submit post button.
On the other hand, Rennlist, and as a member supported site, accepts such threads (even for the site's sponsors) because its members can benefit from the shared knowledge and experiences and can also better protect their interests.
In this case, I think that the best way is to give the shop a fair shot.
Sending an email with a link to this thread and giving them the necessary time to respond either by replying here or by updating the incomplete ebay listing, if the car is damaged indeed, sounds right.
Depending on the actions taken, we will edit the thread accordingly in due course.
Best,
J.

I don't think it's the fender bender that's the big deal. It's the fact this car is being presented as "pristine" with a price to match.
If the fender bender were disclosed and the car priced in high $40s/low $50Ks, I doubt there would be any problem.
It's the lack of transparency and deception coupled with an outrageous price that raises eyebrows I think.

Not sure you guys will take this well...
But when did you become the judger of all? Are you buying the car? Are you in the market for a car? For this car?
There are tons of mis or wrongly represented cars for sale on eBay, Craigslist, Autotrader etc.. Why don't you contact all of them on RL?
My point is... Nothing... Don't think this is the place to get SO involved in the sale of this car. Maybe if you're so concerned you'll call the dealer and help them correct everything if they're inclined to take your call. The Internet is a playground without faces or repercussions...
