I think the real question is - does it have WeatherTech mats?

Take care,

Yes they did!

The fit looked great, great fit, mostly were black, in all the ones I saw.

Wow! Thanks for posting the pics, looks like an event definitely worth attending.

I live in San Diego, but grew up in Chicago area,..actually go back once a month for a week to an office I have in Schaumburg. Is this an annual event? I'll calendar the next one.

Great timing: not knowing about this thread, today I happened to talk to the RLer whom I helped buy this 993 - the 1st time we've talked about it in ~2 years!
He saw it when it was at Crevier ~2005, & had searched for it ever since.

After Crevier, a CO resident bought it. I got him in touch with my RLer friend, who bought it. Then it sold it to a broker who displayed it at Rennsport Reunion, & now Mr. MacNeil owns Gulf Blau.

Lexvan,

Many thanks for all the beautiful pictures .

One question for you; Could it be that you arrived in this car? Picture taken from the same day, same event

^I know the car and owner. There were 100's of PCA members there. The weather was great so everyone came out.

Gotta love the fact the Weathertech is still made in the US, much more profitable to have them made in China I would imagine.

Not sure if this is a yearly event. Our Chicago Region PCA just started doing Cars & Coffee events last year.

During the tour, they also explained how they only purchase American made machinery and raw materials. This was a nice size plant. They will be moving out of it soon to double their size again. They are pretty much a 24 hour 7 day a week operation.

My favorite car there, keeping in mind there were GT3, GT2, Carrera GT, Speedster, Turbo S, was his 959. I did not remember the rain gutters were shaved.

It sounds like this car's spent it's life in a collection or in a truck being driven to the next collection ... and shared bunkroom in two of them with Polar Silver RSCS's ..(!) what are the odds ... I guess two out of "less than 10" ..
