best $60 mainenance: new gas cap
File this under things we slowly neglect and get used to and live with.
My gas cap had gradually been getting more and more difficult to close until it ratchets to the point this spring it was nearly requiring 2 hands. I can't be the only one. Just get a new one from pelican parts - unbelievable how little force is supposed to be required.

Wow. I'm not usually a sucker for $150 gas caps, but that's pretty cool.

Looks like yours but they don't mention our cars for fitment, only '99+. Is this in fact the same one that you have? Do you have a part number??? TIA!
