Default What do you think about the Porsche 10 spoke wheel on a 993?

I've been looking for a set of extra wheels for the track and found a set of 17inch 10 spoke wheels for sale like the ones in this picture. They are the same size as my cup IIs. 7 and 9X17 with ET55 and 50. From the wheel chart I have these are very light weight and should fit fine right? Any reason not to get these buy some track tires to use for DE and autocross?

I think that the curves of the Cup 2s are best on a 993. The MY02s look pretty good. But they seem to fall off from there for me.

I have my snow tires on these 996 10-spokes. They fit just fine.

Well, since you asked: I prefer the plainest, cleanest, simpliest 5 spoke wheels on our cars. MY02s. Carerra IIIs. Fikse FM-5s. The car has clean lines and wheels should too, IMHO. Unless, you go whole-hog and put on chrome spinners, of course.

Just a bit too modern for a 993.

I think they'll work great for DE event's and pretty stylish. As long as you like them go for it
