Ok - that's why i was confused. Just bought a '95 C4 and it had amber rear turn signals - so this means it was changed from the original (was a US delivered car) which was red - correct? Think I will change it back
I do have the G/21, and the Euro suspension (930?) and LWF so that's all good
I think apart from that and a pioneer 6 stacker it is stock

Actually I believe AWD ROW models had red signals and RWD ROW models had the amber. So one of your prior owners changed it to amber.
Somewhere along the way I picked up the idea of there being internal build differences btw the USA g50/21 and RoW g50/21 gearboxes. Yes gear ratio's are shared, however internals are slightly different? No? Shortly after 993 production having ended the PAG Werk 1 facility tech's swapped a new RoW g50/21 in my USA MY98 993. The late production USA g50/20 gearbox was crated and is stored in Wiesbaden.
Bill Verburg - Can you shed some light on this "internals" specific?
