Professional interior re-dyer...NNJ area
Morning all.
My leather door panels have some wear and some splotchyness.
I'm wondering if anyone knows of a place that will do a professional redye of the door panels for a reasonable price.
The leather doesn't have any cuts, gouges, etc, so a recover is not needed, just looking to get back that uniform surface.
Any ideas would be great.
thanks

The quality of the job all depends on the prep the rest is easy.
You can also try Pino at Milano Auto body in Clifton. He is a paint guy but I believe will work with you on interior otherwise he might have someone who can do it for you.

It is pretty easy to do yourself. We have had some great DIY's on this at our NNJR Concours workshops. I recommend surflex from Color plus http://www.colorplus.com/products-pa...her-and-vinyl/

I actually have the surflex and did my seats and found it didn't turn out great, undoubtedly due to my poor prep work and lack of talent with a brush.
I'd be looking for someone to spray it for an even finish.

You really need to spray it for best results. If you are looking for a place to do the work let me know I am only a few blocks away although you would have to work outside. I don't have a spray booth.
