Default I've had a bad day... but I have a 993!

Just wanted to share... I had a bad day, driving 9 hours to buy seats. But passenger seat motor is jammed so I can't install it completely (stuck in front position). Also bought a stereo on ebay (Yeah, I hear you say it's a bad thing) that was supposed to be new but it doesn't work. And the car battery is dead... it dies after 24 hours if I don't start the car...

BUT, I just went back outside to see her and her charm... took pictures (and changed my avatar) and made me realise how lucky I am to have her in my driveway.

So Ijust wanted to share...

Pat.

Ah, "Zen and the art of owning a German car". I've been reading _that_ book for the last 16 years.

File a dispute. You will get a full refund. I did every time.

No worries. Once the bugs are worked out you'll be in heaven. Congrats.

Hi,

Thanks to everyone! I got a lot of help from you to correct the problem and I really appreciate it.

Finally, the problem was caused by my $%* carpet (see picture below). I couldn't see it yesterday since I was working in the dark... My carpet was stuck in the mechanism.

Now everything is fine and the car look WAY BETTER. See pictures below.

Again, thanks to all for your support!

Patrick

Patrick, did you get new seats or did you just clean them?

I simply bought used ones. The cost to clean and repair them was much higher than buying used. ECS Tuning, the beast has 125,000 miles.

EIt certainly looks like either the passenger used Ronco spray on hair dye to eliminate the gray or their head spontaneously combusted or both!

Guys we've been through this recently. The PO of this car was a handicapped individual who had to put his wheelchair in on the passenger seat - that's why it looked the way it looked.
