Default Early vs late '95

Hi, what were the differences between the early an late 993 1995?

I searched, but only found something regarding rear light.

Thanks!

-Some of the later build cars have driveblock, some do not.

-Most late builds don't have the basket handle brake light but the upper window one.

-OBDII connector in the later ones, even though it's OBDI.

-earlier ones had a 964-style heater blower.

-later ones have a fixed second gear (can't remove to re-gear).

I'm sure I'm forgetting a few other things.

In addition the those, my really late build '95 has the updated suspension form the '96 on, and was not subject to the wiring harness recall.

What build date is considered early and what is late? Mine is 1/95 with immobilizer for example.

Early was mid 1994 if I'm not mistaken. My GR was considered a late build in June 1995.

i think they all have immobilizer but its the method of activating is different... early 95s don't have keyless entry, but there is an immobilizer when locked by key in door.

My car (August 94 build) has regular keys, does that mean no immobilizer?

There has been some good chatter here in the last few days regarding 95's.
Look for "immobilizer sucks" on recent page 1, "immobilzer issue" page 2, and "most bullet proof" on page 3.

Generally the basket handle cars had no immob...late 94 up through early to mid 95.

Tim Moffat has the earliest car with immobilzer we have found so far, April 95 build....and no basket handle.
