Default Widebody targa

So I was at a body shop in Calgary on friday picking up a friend when the owner invites me to come inside an show off his latest piece of work. He did a full OEM widebody conversion on a Ocean blue Metallic 993 targa. It also had some nice RUF brakes and wheels. Car looked spectacular!!

Anyone in Calgary know who owns this beauty?

Derek

Unfortunately we didn't get any. If its still there when I pick up my car, I'll see if I can snap some. It was quite fetching.

Haven't seen it Derek, but I haven't been to a Wild Rose function for a long time. Look forward to seeing it.

Which body shop was it at?

I know who owns it.... It usually parks next to a newly finished WB cab.....

Will get pics when they are together....

Wow! That's spectacular! Like the best of both worlds.

The way I look at it, if you're planning on having some fun on the street and light track (or AX), why not do it with a targa that's a turbo.

Who's JP? What's his RL name? I'd love to chat and see more pics of this as well as the one spotted in Calgary.

You can see the "J P" on the CA tags, but I'm not sure that it's RLer-owned.

As requested, more:

^^^^ Curious that it has a vinyl, and not a leather, dash.

I was under the impression that all Turbo cars came with leather dasboards standard. Hmm.

I don't believe Porsche built a TurboS Targa, so there's a bit of custom inside (and outside) this one. I'd put my money on a Targa that had a widebody added and a motor upgrade. Perhaps someone can enlighten us with the full story...

I must say, that usually the 993 Targa lines don't do it for me at all....but somehow with the WB and Turbo bits, this car looks great.

Would love to know where the wheels were "painted" I really like that Turbo S finish but am under the impression that only protomotive can duplicate same in the US of A
