I ordered an outer windshield seal for my '98 993S from Sunset. I received the part (993 541 925 00) from them, but it looks much narrower (5/8") than the existing seal.

I called Sunset, and they said they sent me the correct part with the correct part number. I think they sent me the seal for the rear window. Is anyone aware of a different part number for the outer windshield seal or is this the right part?

 

993 541 925 00 is the correct part number for the outer gasket....Porsche calls it "Covering Frame Outer"...Any chance it will "spread out" when put in place?

 

100% correct part, go fit it!

Saw the car yesterday they were starting the tear down.
