Default Fuchs Question

Did Fuchs ever make an 18" wheel that would fit on a C4S or Turbo?

I love those wheels but I only see the current Fuchs wheels in 19" size.

Thanks
Michael

They just started reproducing the classic 'fuchsfelge' in 18" in late 2012!

I don't believe so, the 80s Fuchs were 16s. There was a place that cut the centers out of the 6x16 Fuchs and used them as centers for larger wheels in a 3 piece. I have seen the custom 3 piece ones in 17 and 18.

Oops, I stand corrected.

Those are rad and radically expensive. Maybe some day when I sell a kidney.

Keep your kidney. Fuchs don't look right on any 911 made after 1989.

I think my kidney is safe! If I had that money I would buy the KW V3s I have been eyeballing.

Ok, I have a set of V3's. I know I can probably get $10k for the kidney (you remove it and Ill remove the V3's). Ill trade ya and Ill sell the kidney. That will get me $10k closer to my 993tt

Ok. I'll get the Dremel out and get back to you when it is done. I have a Playmate cooler that I keep fish in that should work for transporting it...

Please use a new Ziploc bag so it stays fresh.

I think the 17" Fuchs looks the best. The center vs. lip ratio starts to look funny to me at 18" or above. I am waiting for their 8X17" to use in the front. The black center wheel on my white car should look pretty good, but I do think they might look strange on a cars with more contemporary colors.

The price listed on their website includes a 19% tax. If you order them from the US, then the tax is deducted but shipping is about $500. I wish there were a US distributor/retailer.
