Finding a good installer is key, cutting on a car when done right is not that risky, there are safe techniques and trim line tape. But a hack, can do damage to paint.
Wrap Institute has lots of trim Video examples done right. Door jams and engine/trunk are tedious, most color changes don’t do those Areas, 10% of the visibility/material, 50% of the labor.
A geat alternative to paint. 10 year material durability, but after 5 years, the glue not coming off “easily” can be an issueIf you go that long.

Con: Doesn't last forever, Good Chance of Paint lifting especially on repainted panels, exacto cuts in the paint no installer is perfect especially in the tight areas, PPF Removal is not cheap. Most shop will have you sign a None Liability form if paint does come off during the removal process.
Just understand that you might be repainting panels anyway if things aren't removed correctly. The longer you keep the wrap on you'll see things pop up like bubbles.

Some of these wraps look great but I love the deep "liquid" appearance of the factory metallic paints, so I only put clear stone chip on the nose, mirrors and headlights. Pretty much lasts indefinitely unless you ding it.
