Default sweet Riviera Blue GT3 (not a 993)

I know this is the 993 boards but thought I'd post this sweet car! (no afil)

I don't know much about the GT3....how is it different than a standard 911Turbo or a GT2?

Yup. There's a thread in the 997 forum that mentions it, the thread is regarding a Mexico Blue GT3 that Porsche of San Antonio is selling. :-)

Two different dealerships, two different colors, two different VINs. The cars are not the same:

I drive by that car several times a week with my kids -- twice while taking my son to basketball practice -- and each time they ask me to slow down so they can look at it. They then criticize me for not buying it (and ask for the 10,000,000 time how much it costs) and remind me that they liked my car better with a wing. My son, who sits in the back seat of the 993 when I take him and his older sister to school, asks why I don't buy it and I have to remind him there wouldn't be room for him. Oh, and the $120k asking price....

Well, this is Dawydiak, IIRC, you sold your cab through them and they, unlike many upscale dealers, are known to be flexible on price But isn't this car priced about right for any 2011 GT3? I mean, it doesn't seem like there's been a 'premium' put on it for color .. am I wrong?

BTW .. the best thing about it is the darker ('Steelgrau?') color on the wheels .. against the RB, it's awesome!

Groupe purchase?

4 RLrs @ $30k each, and I'll graciously volunteer to store it in my garage for free

Yes, the price seems about right without even considering the color, which is why I've actually thought twice about it. Ok, maybe only thought one and a half times. And they will negotiate at Dawydiak (which is where I sold my cab). Still too much for me, even with some negotiation.....
