The one that I lusted after was a '97 Black Metallic over Flamenco Red TT .. it was Morgan Freeman's ex ... It needed some TLC but not bad, sold for $62K. I kept dreaming of Flamenco red sport seats with black metallic hardbacks ..

I recall my 96' metallic black being called Basalt Black. Yes it would change colors in the sun. Everyone knows the challenges a black car presents and having had both Basalt and now flat I would choose flat. It's a personal preference.

Nine in line. The flippers pounced.

Well Joe, everyone here knows we all NEED a 993 in our garage!

My daughter just turned 16 and we're making room for an early 70's longhood in our garage; my son, who is 14 (and yes can drive a 6 speed 911....just don't tell his mom) already asked if he could have Renndibbs on it with the understanding he could 'sort it out' until he gets his drivers license

I'm blown away by the responses to the ad, 14 'serious' buyers in line, I knew I had a hard time finding my WB but are the decent NB cars getting that hard to find too?

WB--wide body
NB--narrow body, the best looking BTW...no ugly side bulbous rocker panels.,

Wow very nice combo.

My 951 Metallic black and when clean is very hard to beat. I can imagine how amazing a 993 would look in this color.

Flew from CT to Chicago to see the car in person in order to give those interested a good Rennpinion.....ended up driving it for a 1300 mile road trip to 'inspect' it....no one here would have really wanted it...total piece of junk...sorry for posting it here.....

oh yea....btw...car is now sold....to me I'll keep the Renndibbs list in order of interest should I decide to sell it at some point.

It's at the shop now getting some much deserved TLC....I'll post some decent pix when I get back from my road trip in the C4S...about to head out on a trip from CT around the Great Lakes and back.

great example of a preowned 993 carrera. And for under 30 grand it is reasonable.
