Bought my first 911... 96 Iris Blue C4
I was originally looking at C2S's and C4S's and finally came to the conclusion that I should spend less money on the initial car because I really do only have a limited budget right now and I can't leave well enough alone 
. There are ppl who buy stock low mile cars and keep them mostly stock and low mileage cars. I on the other hand, want to lower mine and toss some wheels on it and then toy around with the idea of some other mods and all while driving the car regularly and maintaining it. So... I found a nice driver 993 Carrera 4, 1996, special ordered Iris Blue w/ color matched 17" twists, Blue leather dash, grey leather dual power and heated sport seats and with just over 100k miles. Single owner car. Selling dealer had all the dealership maintenance history up to and including the 90k and 2 oil changes after that. PPI at the local Porsche dealer showed a couple typical lower valve cover seeps and minor leaks but overall, it checked out great. It has a small common area rust bubbling around the drivers side back window lower channel but I'll have that repaired soon. I was the 1st to put a deposit on the car and the dealership said they had 2 more deposits on the car, one of which was from a guy who only saw it online and would buy it sight unseen (in person) if my deposit fell thru. While I wanted a C2S or C4S, the price was right with this one so I took it. I had a good time driving back 6 hours from the dealer that I found it at but a bunch of 130mph bursts on pitch black highway is kinda asking for trouble, lol.
