My '97 C2 with FSD/M033. FSD rear shocks are fixed - no height adjustment. The front struts are adjustable; mine are at, within 1 or 2 threads, as low as they can go. This set up equals approximately ROW Sport height with about 1 degree of rake.

FSD/M033 looks good. It may be a little taller than my ride with H&R. I bet they work much better than my setup.
I understand ride quality is very subjective. But with bumpy roads in Toronto, this sounds like my best bet.
Thank you guys...

In my experience, H&R and "comfy" don't generally go together.

Interesting enough I saw Carnewal has Koni FSD/ H&R as a package. I always thought FSD don't work well with lower springs. I've emailed Gert to find out more....

I got my FSD/M033 kit from Gert. I was initially considering Gert's P93 RoW sport suspension w/ the Bilstein shock kit or the PSS10 w/ M030 sways and drop links packages. He steered me away from them after I told him my car was a weekend/holiday touring car, and a fair weather occasional daily driver. Plus, although I may do an occasional DE day, it's about improving my driving skills not becoming a "track rat."
So far (300 miles and 1 DE day later), I'm happy w/ the FSD/M033 set-up.
My recommendation is to be honest w/ yourself (and Gert) about how you intend to use the car. But, then again, I can't necessarily take my own advice. I feel the pull of the "slippery slope." I blame that on RL.

I redid mine in November - Bilstein B6 w/ H&R lowering springs (CARNEWAL). Love the look; the ride is a bit too stiff for my street driving. Granted many roads in Hampton Roads, Va are garbage, so that might be the bigger problem. With the dollar conversion, Gert still have the better price.

Have the H&R coilover kit $1800 complete- includes struts & springs. Nice results. I set the car height at ROW lowered height allowing for stock alignment values and not catching the bottom edge of the rear bumper cover when going up my driveway. No need for any additional parts other than replacing the prevailing torque nuts that clamp the strut top mounts to the fenders front & back.
Very happy with this set-up.

ppp000830,
I was looking at H&R street coilover as well. They are well priced and I'm sure they work well with smooth surface. How's the ride on bumpy roads??
