Last year I painted my rear bumper cover to good effect. I used a two part automotive polyurethane singe stage paint, and gun painted it. It turned out great.
Recently I damaged the bumper cover again and this time I will be replacing it with an OE part that came pre-primed.
Here is my question.
Is the primer on this new part compatible with the two part urethane paint or do I need to sand prep, use adhesion enhancer and apply a primer that is designed to work with the paint first?Anyone who has paint experience please chime in.
