It would actually reduce some weight in the rear.

To me a sleeper is one that looks stock but has a serious sting in the tail. For that to happen with our cars it is neither easy or cheap.

One of the better ways would be a stockish exhaust (to keep the noise down) and a supercharger installation with no tail. Looks and sounds stock but with the Sting.

If you go down the NA route expect cubic dollars to be spent

Default 87 n/a Sleeper

I don't really have room for this, so I put out this feeler to sell it, reluctant because I'll never see one like it again, so I put it out there.... was consider backdating to an RS or Yellowbird look.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...cked-mint.html

a porsche 911 is not a sleeper.

A forest green 1972 dodge dart with chrome trim and hubcaps, but with a twin turbo stroked LSX and full exhaust is a sleeper. A debaged S600 mercedes without the sport package, S430 wheels, and an ECU tune is a sleeper.

A 993 with an exhaust and PSS10s is in no way a sleeper.

How about a 3.8 kit with V-Ram and a chip?
I am not sure a Porsche 911 (of any vintage) would count as a sleeper. People expect them to be fast, and when they are faster that is just what is expected.

Even that would get buttraped in a straight line by just about any modern performance car. Mustangs come with 600+hp from the factory nowadays.

You'd need forced induction and a lot of it to be considered a sleeper.

I've owned several sleepers, but none of them were a Porsche.
