Default QUESTION - Keeping the car powered while replacing battery

The battery of my 993 is shot. Due to pain to go through custom ECU adoption with LWF I would like to keep the ECU powered while replacing the battery. What is would you recommend?

Thanks

If you have a Battery Tender or similar charger with cigarette lighter adapter, just plug it in. Otherwise, you'll need to put the alligator clips of the charger to the Pos. cable and Neg. to a good ground, making sure they don't disconnect while you pull the cables from the battery and replace it. Once the new battery is hooked up, you can disconnect the charger.

I'd find out if whatever is used produces pure DC at the correct level before plugging it in.

I use a spare battery and connect it to the cables or cigarette lighter.

I've used this for years on many cars. Works perfectly.

Thanks for answers. Did someone try the Noco for a 993? In any case, I can hook up my trickle charger to the cigarette lighter.
