Yea that's why I wanted to get a group buy organized on these ...
The first set I ordered were so solid ..
I said to my buddy, who had ordered these a year before I did, "I gotta see if I can get a GB arranged for these" ... My first set cost me 145 bucks ...
So these are a really great deal and who know's could maybe even save a life...

Sadly, like everything else sold in this country, China.
They are still avail .. not sure of your question?

I have China made jack stands now. I just want to spend $ on something I believe in.

CE I have to put my life under these things. I really don't trust Chinese metallurgy or build quality. I have 4 China made jacks in my garage and 3 are not working. If I'm going to buy more I would liked to support responsible companies who still believe in quality. Next one will be from AC Hydraulics. I guess I should check with them.

In almost every case, I would agree with you on this ..
These are really great stand ..

These are really great stands. If I am not mistaken these same stands were made by AC and they are no longer made by them ( they either farmed they out or sold the rights to the design ..) But I could be wrong I remember hearing this a few yrs ago .. ???
Bud, I have nothing to gain here, but I think these are the best stands made today ...
I not only agree with you on the quality issue with China, but frankly I would rather buy American any day of the week ..
I am not a big Mao supporter if ya know what I mean

Hey Guys
UPDATE .. I just got a call from Polly
She said the demand for these has been so outstanding that they are backlogged The number surpassed over 138 pairs !!
Nearly 300 jackstands !
The first 10 -20 orders are either filled or will be very shortly
The remainder will be filled in 2 segments one in 2 weeks and the remainder by May 15th ... They never expected such demand ...
Sorry if this screws anybody up ...
If it makes anyone feel better, I am in the 2nd or 3rd batch ......
