Cool brake lines

Mine arrived day before yesterday. Beautifully made.
My first of what will be many group buys.
Thanks Darin and Kelly, very professional to work with.

I finally got around to installing these Friday. Very straightforward install. I can immediately feel the difference in the pedal. Can't wait for Sebring in 2 weeks!
Thanks FD!

I got a set as a gift and bought a set. I am offering my extra unopened red set for $75 shipped in Cont. US to the first taker.

If anyone has an extra set I'd take them - red preferred

If Jstyer does not take them then they are yours.

Old thread but hopefully someone can confirm. Aren’t the Techna Fit brake lines from FD supposed to have the “D” shaped terminations to fit the hole in the chassis? I’ve included the part number which looks different than what others have used. Maybe wrong part shipped?

(On a side-note to anyone attempting to replace these, do yourself a favor and order the hard lines now. Unless the Gods are with you, don’t expect them to separate from the flex lines.)

Why not call Darin and ask him directly?

I will on Monday, but it’s the weekend and right now I don’t know what I don’t know. There’s so much knowledge in this forum and others who have made the swap, I’m sure someone can confirm and I’ll be able to explain exactly what’s going on.

If I was wondering if the design changed, or if the wrong part was shipped, I'd only rely on the source.

If it was the weekend, and I needed an answer, I'd ask on Rennlist.

Sorry I can't help you OP, but keep the questions coming - that's what Rennlist is for.

This last batch of TF 993 brake lines came in and your order was shipped out asap. We just realized last week that they had assembled them with the wrong ends on the front lines. Techna Fit have shipped out the correct front lines to replace all of the ones they made incorrectly. I expect to have them this week and can send you out the correct ones as soon as I have them in hand.
We have sold hundreds of sets of their brake lines, and this is a first. Sorry we did not catch it until after your set shipped out.
Please email me and we can get this corrected for you.

Done and thanks! I’m just glad it wasn’t me for once. 😉

And, I rest my case. As usual, FD was on it, with the answer none of us could provide.
