Default Porsche Day at SuperCarSunday April 7th (SoCal)

Let's make sure the SoCal 993 crew makes a strong showing!

From the email I got from SCS, looks to be a pretty good event:
"Our presenting sponsor, The Auto Gallery will be pulling out all stops to add a tremendous amount of excitement and value at the event! Streaming coverage, video coverage, vehicle displays, Porsche experts, it is going to be amazing!"

This is always a big turnout of over 200 Porsches of all kinds and a parking lot full of exotics, muscle cars, hot rods and 1000 to 1500 car nuts. Arrive between 7:00 to 7:30 am if you want to park in the porsche corral area. This event is worth the drive from Orange County.

If I'm not flying out of town then I'm going. I go there every week so I would be kind of pissed if I won't be able to make it to this out of all events!

In addition, I bought my 993 the week after last year's event so it would be a bummer if I miss 2 out of 2.

April 7th is the last day of the Festival of Speed in Fontana. Hundreds of Porsches there. You will see speeds around 160mph.....

Where is the poker run going through? I was going to go to Fontana on Sunday but depending on what auto gallery is doing I might go Saturday.

Fiy Darin Fister will be there on Saturday.

Dang! this weekend (FOS and SCS) and next (GMG open house) is when a bunch of cool stuff is happening locally and I will be out of town for both.

I thought I have bad luck missing all of the Callas Tech sessions with soccer stuff.
...someone take lots of pics so I can see what I missed!

Eddie 993,
I'm not sure of the details for The Auto Gallery. From what I can gather it's a couple hour drive max, with a BBQ to follow at the dealership. I believe you need to RSVP for the run but not the BBQ.
