Default Using a BendPak MD-6XP

This is my first time raising the car. Are the lifting points for the mid rise lift the same as the location for the jack stands?

Thank you,

Jason

yes, the best thing is to use pucks that lock into the existing slots in the chasssis lift points

the silver steel items shown here, sometimes I use wood shims too but you have to be careful some types of wood will split and fall apart, plywood seems to work well

Bill, Is there a source for the silver steel plucks? Those look ideal.

Thanks,

I bought mine off e-bay, I think someone may have posted a link n ot too long ago.

The advantage over hockey pucks etc is that they lock in and will not slide out. I've even forgotten to remove them before driving, they were still there when i pulled back in.

Thanks Bill. Searching for "porsche jacking" on e-bay brought back several options. I like the fact that they will not slide.
